Battery Safety Disclaimer

LiPo, NiMH, LiHV, and LiFePO4 batteries store significant energy. Mishandling can cause fires, swelling, or chemical exposure. Always follow the battery, charger, and vehicle manuals.

Battery safety reminders

  • Never leave charging batteries unattended.
  • Use the correct charger mode and cell count.
  • Inspect packs for swelling, puffing, smell, or damage before every use.
  • Store LiPo batteries in a fireproof bag or container, away from flammable material.
  • Disconnect the battery from the ESC after every run.
  • Use storage mode (about 3.8V/cell) for LiPo if not running within a day or two.
  • Do not charge damaged, hot, or unstable batteries.
  • Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended C-rate.
  • Follow battery, charger, and vehicle manuals.

What we don’t cover

We do not provide instructions for parallel charging without manufacturer guidance, overvolting beyond ESC ratings, or modifying LiPo packs. If a pack is damaged, dispose of it through your local battery recycling programme — do not throw it in regular rubbish.
