RC Safety Disclaimer
RC cars can reach high speeds and may use batteries that require careful charging and storage. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, supervise children, avoid public roads, use safe open areas, and follow proper LiPo charging, storage, and handling practices.
Driving safety reminders
- Do not drive RC cars on public roads.
- Avoid people, pets, traffic, and fragile property.
- Supervise children — RC cars are not toys for unsupervised use, especially hobby-grade vehicles.
- Use beginner / training speed limits while learning.
- Choose terrain appropriate to the vehicle and tires.
- Wear safety glasses when bashing — debris does fly.
- Respect park, HOA, and private-property rules.
Speed and brushless caution
Brushless 1/8 and speed-run vehicles can move dangerously fast. Use open spaces clear of traffic and bystanders. Speed-run setups are for experienced adult drivers only.
Children
Hobby-grade RC vehicles are not designed for children under 8 to operate unsupervised. Kid-friendly RC cars are typically 1/18 or 1/24 scale with built-in NiMH packs and a speed limiter.
